If your furnace is not working, you could check a few items first.
- Is the power switch at the furnace on?
- Is the circuit breaker or fuse OK?
- Is the blower door on properly?
- Is the gas on to the furnace or building?
- If it has a standing pilot, is it lit?
- If you have a hot surface ignitor, do you see an orange glow before the burners try to light?
- If the burners light, do they stay on? How long do they stay on?
- Is the thermostat set for heat and above the room temperature?
- Is the filter clean?
