If your heat pump is not working, you could check a few items first.
- Is the circuit breaker or fuse OK? There may be several breakers.
- Check the outdoor electrical box at the heat pump
- Is the thermostat set properly?
- Is the filter clean?
- If it is running, feel the large copper line under the black insulation. It should be hot if heating and cold if cooling.
